Brixham Environmental Laboratory Ready for REACH Registration and PBT Testing

Published date :

Expired date :

Our close links with industry, backed by a robust Research Department, means that Brixham Environmental Laboratory (BEL) can pride itself with being able to deliver a superior service for our clients, not just in terms of technical excellence and competitive pricing, but by anticipating the future requirements of new testing methods.

The REACH Regulations state that the type of testing required for the registration of chemicals will have a much greater emphasis on the assessment of a chemical's Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) properties. In particular, in vitro and reduced in vivo methods will become increasingly important over the next few years. BEL has the expertise and resources to carry out many of the in vitro methods which are recommended in support of the assessment of bioaccumulation.

This 'intelligent testing' approach of using alternative methods such as molecular biomarker assessment, is a service we can offer as a means of helping you to keep ahead of future regulatory requirements.

Call our External Business Office Manager on +44 1803 884400 to discuss what you will need to do to get your product registered, and how Brixham can help you with the necessary environmental testing.
