Industrial Chemicals (REACH)

REACH or the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals entered into force on 01 June 2007.
What Brixham Environmental Laboratory can do for you
Under this system (REACH ), enterprises that manufacture or import more than one tonne of a chemical substance per year will be required to register it in a central database, submitting a technical dossier and a chemical safety report for substances in quantities of 10 tonnes or more.
This places greater responsibility on industry to manage risks from chemicals and to provide safety information, as failure to register means that the substance cannot be manufactured or imported.
Brixham Environmental Laboratory can help meet the regulatory requirements of the REACH programme, offering a wide range of tests, to EU standardised testing methods, and providing information to aid preparation and submission of the required technical dossier.
